I seem to remember Georege Markham mentioning in one of his article's in the last issue about the improved Dublin scenery, has there been an improved Dublin Airport released that i have missed.

None that I am aware of, Trev.

At the Fly-In we saw some work-in-progress of a very nice landclass scenery of Dublin down to Bray/Greystones and even more but I haven't heard of a release yet.

There is an improved Dublin in progress, the main author is Terry Smith and his brother seems to be chipping in a lot also. More info over at http://forums.ifsd.ie, look for the Scenery Design forum near the bottom and it should be the first thread in the list (10 pages iof replies and many pics, hard to miss Smiley )

Thanks, Stephen, for letting us in on Ireland's best kept secret  Smiley

I have to admit I have not heard of or seen this huge scale project mentioned anywhere before but it certainly looks like a brilliant work of art, and, what is more, it is for FS2004.

Dublin scenery is looking good hopefully Shannon will be released some day ,as it's a long time ago since I first seen the screenshots & was shown a preview by one of the IFSD guys at one of our flyin's. We could do with at least 2 good sceneries for this little country of ours.

Hi Trevor.  I've only just read your opening gambit on this topic and I can confirm that I was referring to the very, very much improved default Dublin Airport and surrounding Dublin Scenery provided by FSX. Also, available at Flightsim.com is an enhanced Dublin Airport, including Pier D and the West Apron, by a Neil Keane and unfortunately for FS2004 users, it is for FSX. It is very good and I originally spotted it in the Freeware Section of last June's PC Flight, page 43, re FSX.
Cheers,  George.

You beat me to it Trevor! I was going to post the link here after seeing Terry's (Terry S. that is) posts at Vateir and Boards.ie. He told me he was going to upload some new screenshots alright and it's looking good!
