There have been several recent postings on the subject of Flight Simulation not being so active etc.
I am beginning to get hacked off (pardon the unintended pun!) at the attitude of commercial developers and sales organisations to those of us who remain loyal to our following.
Here's what I mean:
UK2000 Scenery can only be installed on one computer. If I buy a new computer Gary insists I will have to buy another copy of the respective scenery. His philosophy would appear not to trust anyone. Having loyally supported these products since their inception I find this attitude quite unacceptable.
I bought via Internet some Australia Scenery from Flightsimstore. Its all bundled into a wrapper and I just don't seem to be able to get it from my lap top to Flight Sim PC.
Now PMDG appear to want to have nothing to do with those of us who bought for FS9. After all this forum shows tere remains a loyal FS9 following.
I also bought the Just Flight Tiger Moth a while since. It has only one working aileron. There is a freeware Tiger with everything working. Question has to be why pay?
I may sound as if I am grumbling (Oh well Yes I guess I am) but does anyone else share my views.
Let's have some replies and stimulate discussion.

Alwyn,
I would have thought that the only security that Gary needs is to ensure that the scenery is being (re) installed onto/into a PC with the same e-mail address as logged by him at the time of purchase/activation.
Insisting (if that is the case) on a whole new shopping trolley on obtaining a new PC is outrageous
You should be able to copy the downloaded files onto a USB stick and then load it into the PC. That is a recognised method and one recommended by FlightSimStore for those persons using a PC that is NOT connected to the internet. Download to laptop/"Internet PC" then transfer to Sim-PC.Ah! There's the rub

I hope you're not becoming grumpy as your retirement looms

Ken.
