Just received this "subscription" response from the AVSIM forums\Swap Meet..........

dman5 has just posted a new topic entitled "Aerosoft MCP driver Software wanted." in forum "Swap Meet".

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I cannot get the aerosoft mcp to talk to FS2004/fs9. Does anybody have the driver for this mcp? Aerosoft has gone bankrupt, and they have not left any location to download their old driver files.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Comments???

They still come up on Google but no ref to "belly-up" Huh

Ken,

That's Aerosoft Australia who used to make the MCP - not our German friends. I think it's been a few years since they stopped making the things - best place for any assistance would I guess be the forums at www.mycockpit.org, there's bound to be people up there who have the units.

Jon,

thanks for the info.........

I thought it was strange - I would have expected Terry and Ian to have been jumping up and down a bit if "our" Aerosoft had gone Shocked

How's your Little Fokker coming on? Grin

Ken,

Let alone just jumping, I think Ireland would have had an Olympic standard pole-vault team (without needing the poles) if it was the other Aerosoft. Grin I'm amazed at the number of software releases they are putting out at the moment; I don't imagine Mathijs does anything unless he thinks he'll make money from it, so people must be buying the stuff. At least when it comes to Aerosoft quantity doesn't hurt the quality.

Quiet on the Fokker front at the moment, thankfully busy at work, and gardening and cockpit building aren't complementary. At this time of year the grass and weeds are growing fast - a little less rain would be welcome.

Cheers
